Therefore, drinking milk is promoted via advertisements and we have been taught from the childhood that milk is responsible for the growth and providing essential nutrients.
Till When Milk is Actually Required for Humans?
There is a reason our milk teeth fall out during childhood and we get a new set of teeth. Mother nature clearly gives us an indication that now we can stop drinking milk and get all the nutrition from fruits, vegetables, and other foods. On plucking any leaf, you can notice white milk-like substance in it. Almonds, cashews, peanuts, coconuts, these foods have milk in them. Just like cow gives milk after eating grass. Similarly, we get the benefits of milk by eating these natural foods.
There is one principle for milk that it should get curdled after going inside our stomach. This curdling of milk indicates that milk is getting digested. Therefore, an infant vomits curdled milk. Renin is a chemical substance released by our body which is responsible for curdling thus digesting the milk. With growing age, the secretion of renin begins decreasing. So, if we keep on drinking milk or give milk to our kids for their entire life, it results in indigestion and other major health issues like prostate cancer, ovarian cancer, heart disease, arthritis, joint pain, and many more.
Human bodies are not made to drink and digest milk for their entire life. If you want to drink milk, either get it from a pure breed desi cow which should be nurtured with care or start making it at home with coconut, cashews, almonds, peanuts, oats, etc. Milk products like curd, cheese, and cottage cheese, can also be extracted out from these homemade milk.
Start thinking start knowing and start acting. There’s a lot of myths around us which should be broken. Drinking milk is necessary for growth – this myth is one of them. Improve your lifestyle and get back your health.
