Ingredients:

2 cups peanuts

1 tbsp desi ghee/ clarified butter/ vegetable oil

¼ cup of jaggery

A pinch of salt

Method:

Roast peanuts at a low flame and remove the outer skin by rubbing with a cloth.

Blend peanuts when they are hot as they have their own oil which gets released when blended. Keep scrapping the sides in between the blending process. In 3-4 minutes, the peanuts will come out as an oily paste. Now, add desi ghee, jaggery, and salt. Blend again until the ingredients come together nicely, and the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.

Transfer the mixture in a container. Refrigerate for an hour and your homemade preservative-free peanut butter is ready to serve.

Notes:

Do not roast peanuts at high flame as they can get burnt easily.
